What’s the saying? Third times a charm? Yep, that’s the one! That’s so true for this couple who booked me a few months ago for their August wedding. I have been so excited since the beginning to work with them! 

Pedro & Jaycie met in high school through a mutual friend when they both lived on the Palouse, but since then moved to the Boise area. I JUMPED to be able to travel to photograph them down there! Their August wedding will be at the Barn at Mader Farm, and this wedding is one that I’ve been looking forward to! 

Right after they booked, we went through a little uncertainty with the COVID-19 shut downs, so we had to hold off on scheduling their first session. Once we got the go ahead, I traveled down to Boise to see them and it absolutely STORMED on their session day. So they came up here to visit family a couple weeks later, and it rained AGAIN. Over the 4th of July weekend, I took another trip down, and we had the best weather. So its also true that the best things are worth waiting for.

Also… Did you actually get married in the middle of a pandemic if you didn’t do part of your engagements wearing a mask? Hahah! Oh 2020, you have been a “fun” one.

Also, special shout out to my sweet guy for hand picking this gorgeous spot for me in Eagle while I was down there visiting. You the real MVP honey.
