This wedding turned out to be one of those days that filled my cup. Really, a sweet couple, a sweet family, some of my favorite vendors collaborating. And a HUGE celebration that we were able to have with the crazy year it has been.
Almost a year before this wedding, Carson reached out to me to capture his proposal at Lindsay Creek Vineyard, completely to Danielle’s surprise. The two met at a church retreat for young adults, and they found out that they were from the same area. They later started seeing each other, and have been together for a few years before tying the knot. At their proposal, I hid in a bush – literally. In a large bush next to the tasting room (I’m sure I got lots of strange looks) and Carson asked Danielle to come outside for a photo op just before sunset. He dropped down on one knee and the rest is history!
It was so special to be able to be there for their big day at the Barn at Mader Farm. It turned out beautifully, ran super smoothly, and was just an honor to be there. You can tell that Danielle truly put her heart into this wedding – there were so many details that she planned that made the day so perfectly them. To name a few : Carson’s dad married them, their families were many pieces of the bridal party, they said their vows and prayed privately together before the ceremony, and the first thing they did as husband and wife was take communion together.
Here are some of my favorites from the day!
